San Antonio Candle Store Outed as a Brothel After People Noticed All the Customers Were Men

Just a note that if you are going to use a business as a front for a brothel, at least make sure what you are claiming to sell is actually what the customers coming into your establishment would actually buy.

According to My San Antonio.com, the business was registered as a candle shop but when nearby business owners noticed that the majority of the customers were men, it put up a red flag, since men typically do not buy candles.

They also noticed the staff would sometimes lock the front door after a customer went in.

Police investigated and realized the store was also offering spa treatments, all a cover for a prostitution ring.

The two men running the store/brothel were arrested, one took a plea deal and got five years, the other has his sentencing next month and could be looking at ten years in jail.
