Road Work Closures in Odessa

Seems like the roads of Midland/Odessa are always undergoing some sort of work causing delays and frustration and I’m sure plenty of road rage. As part of a multi-million dollar rehab project there will be portions of BI-20 East that will be closed today at 7pm. TxDot if warning Odessa drivers that the passing lanes and crossover at this section will be closed for like a thousand feet in both directions from the intersection. The rehab project on BI-20 covers the areas of East Loop 338 in Odessa to West Loop 250 in Midland. During the closure, eastbound drivers won’t be able to access Faudree Road from BI-20 at the intersection but the area should open back up by 6 a.m. tomorrow (Thursday).
