Dec. 8, 2014 marks the 10th anniversary of Pantera / Damageplan guitarist ‘Dimebag’ Darrell Abbott‘s tragic death. In remembrance of the guitar great, we’ve spoken to rock and metal’s greatest musicians to gather stories and testimonies of admiration towards the immortal shredder.

In the video above, the members of Seether reflect on Dimebag Darrell, with drummer John Humphrey sharing his personal experiences of meeting the guitarist and having in depth discussions about KISS.

Frontman Shaun Morgan also speaks on Dimebag's passing and how he feels that it's a shame that Dimebag Darrell wasn't more recognized by the music industry as a whole after his passing. "It's kind of a shame he isn't more honored and more remembered by people. He certainly deserves to be in the higher echelons of rock goddery."
