NFL Playoff Picture – Who’s Out and Who’s Still in the Running

Here is the current list of NFL teams that have been mathematically eliminated from the playoffs and the teams that have clinched playoff berths and division titles.

Going into this week, 7 teams have been mathematically eliminated from the NFL playoffs:

1. Houston Texans
2. New York Giants
3. St.Louis Rams
4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
5. Minnesota Vikings
6. Atlanta Falcons
7. Washington Redskins

Denver and Seattle have clinched a playoff berth, while Indianapolis has clinched a playoff berth and clinched the AFC South division title. The 22 remaining teams are in the hunt for the last 9 playoff spots.
