Police Searching For Burglars Find Eight Thousand Pot Cookies

British police investigating a residential burglary on Thursday instead found marijuana and eight thousand cookies believe to have the marijuana cooked in them.  

According to CTV News a homeowner called authorities to say he had surprised two burglars and whacked them with a crowbar while he fought with them.  While the cops were searching for the suspects, they entered a neighboring house where, according to reports, they found the bakery of illicit cookies.

Police arrested two women that were in the house at the time, and shockingly enough the man who reported the burglary on drug charges.

The police have yet to locate the suspected burglars.
