Police Intercepted a Package of Condoms and Cocaine Being Shipped to the Vatican

Pope Francis is the coolest pope ever, but I am pretty sure he is not wanting to get everyone at the Vatican high or start passing out condoms.

According to The Independent, back in January police in Germany intercepted a package from South America headed to the Vatican.  Inside were 14 condoms filled with cocaine.

It is not clear who the package was for, but with only 800 residents in the Vatican City, the suspect list is rather small.

The package was just addressed to the Vatican City post office where anyone could have picked it up.

The cocaine had a street value of about $55,000.  The police were hoping to catch the person the package was intended for and set up a sting to capture them, but nobody showed up.

The Pope has not commented on the shipment.
