Ozzy Osbourne To Open ‘Hell Gate’ in Las Vegas

Ozzy Osbourne is headed to Las Vegas. Sharon Osbourne, the rocker’s wife and manager, spoke with U.K. paper The Sun recently, telling them that she’s working on a Las Vegas production for her husband, saying, “It’ll be in time for Halloween and be called ‘Hell Gate.’

At this moment, it’s not clear if the show will be a one-off performance or a residency, but here’s what we do know. ‘Hell Gate’ is supposed to debut either Halloween of this year or next year, and The Sun quotes an unnamed source as saying it will be a “top draw and really do something unique.”

The Black Sabbath vocalist will follow in the footsteps of Motley Crue and Guns N’ Roses, who have both completed two Vegas residencies, respectively. GN'R ended their most recent Sin City stage run in June of 2014, while Motley Crue’s last stint of Las Vegas gigs took place in September of 2013.

In September of 2014, Ozzy launched a Facebook page for ‘Hell Gate,’ without any explanation as to what it was. The rumor at the time was that ‘Hell Gate’ could possibly be a Halloween-themed attraction at Universal Studios.
