Nursing Home Under Fire for Hiring Stripper to Entertain Residents [VIDEO]
This nursing home offers a whole different kind of care for its patients.
The East Neck Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in West Babylon, New York has been accused of hiring a male stripper for its residents.
Family of 85-year-old Bernice Youngblood have now filed a lawsuit against the facility. Interestingly, relatives kept Youngblood at East Neck for more than a year after finding a photo in January 2013 of her stuffing a dollar bill into the stripper’s underpants.
One relative said, “This is not the place to be doing that stuff.”
The nursing home says Youngblood willingly participated in the 2012 event, which was put together by a committee of more than a dozen residents.
And while Youngblood’s family is furious, the daughter of a woman who lives at East Neck says the show was actually a hit, adding, “They were excited, the ones who were very depressed were happy and smiling, they had a good time.”
