NFL Honors Jason Witten with Walter Peyton Award

Watching the NFL Honors this evening and pleasantly surprised to see Jason Witten get honored with the Walter Peyton Award.  

Being a Cowboys fan I always enjoy seeing a member of the team win an award but especially proud to see the member of the team I know to be not only an outstanding player on the field but also a great man in his community.

Witten is now the leader among all Cowboys receivers for most career catches and has also set up the Jason Witten Score Foundation that puts male mentors in battered women's shelters to work with children staying there.

Congratulations to Jason Witten for an honor well deserved.
