In honor of Super Bowl 50, the NFL is honoring high schools across the country with golden footballs honoring former students who participated in a Super Bowl, Midland Lee received three of the gold footballs.

The NFL is honoring all high schools across the country that have any former students who participated in a Super Bowl by sending them a gold football with the players name and the Super Bowl(s) in which they participated, Midland Lee High School was honored with three:

  • Keith Bishop who played for the Denver Broncos and appeared in Super Bowls XXI, XXII, and XXIV.
  • Ryan Tucker who played for the St. Louis Rams and appeared in Super Bowls XXXIV and XXXVI.
  • Cedric Benson who played for the Chicago Bears and appeared in Super Bowl XLI.
