Today is day 2 of NFL Football as the second half of the Divisional round of the playoffs kick off at noon.

San Francisco at Carolina 12:00pm - Carolina was in the same division with San Francisco for the first 7 seasons of their existence. During that time, they posted a 7-7 record against San Francisco before realignment separated them.  This will be the first time these two have met in the post-season and the first time they have met twice in one season since being put in different divisions.  Currently the Panthers are on a 3 game winning streak against the 49ers, with San Francisco's last win against Carolina in the regular season of 2001 when they were still in the same division.  This should be a great match up, but can the 49ers break the Panthers' streak against them?

San Diego at Denver 4:30pm - These two teams have been division rivals since they both began in the old AFL days of the 1960's, but surprisingly this is the fist ever meeting in the post season. The two split the season series this year with both teams winning on the road.  But can that momentum of the home team losing carry over into the post-season?  The Chargers come off an emotional win last week against the heavily favored Bengals while the Broncos have had a week to rest and get ready for this game.  That is a recipe for a great game and a game where anything can happen between bitter division rivals.
