New Date Set For Robert Fabian Trial

The trial for the murder case against Robert Fabian has been rescheduled for 2019. Fabian was transferred from Brewster County to Caldwell County to await his trial that was originally set for July 23rd of this year. You may remember the story of the beautiful, smart Sul Ross student that went missing from Alpine, TX back in October of 2016. She was dating Robert Fabian at the time and was reportedly the last person to see her alive the night of October 11th. She didn’t show up for school the next day or work. Verk was reported missing around October 13th by her mother. Just four months later her remains were found in a shallow desert grave just 6 miles from where she lived.
