Mastodon are dropping plenty of pieces of information on their upcoming sixth album. After revealing that the platter is near completion, they band has now shared the album title and some song titles.

As for the disc, the title is 'Once More Round the Sun.' The moniker was revealed by Troy Sanders during a chat with Paste. It is due out sometime this year via Warner Bros., the quartet's now-longtime label after a stint on Relapse. A firm release date has not been announced yet.

'Once More Round the Sun' was recorded in Franklin, Tenn. with Nick Raskulinecz, a hot producer in recent years who has worked with Deftones and Stone Sour.

Sanders said he and his bandmates are thrilled with the results thus far, saying, “It’s big hugs all the way around. The four of us are digging it very heavily." Sanders also called the album "a large slab of granite," a description that fans of the band and of metal will be happy to hear.

Other details? There is a song called 'Diamonds in the Witch House,' which boasts an appearance by Neurosis' Scott Kelly. No shocker there, since that's an expected detail, and one band already revealed on Facebook. However, Sanders mused, “I think subconsciously that we’re trying to involve him with every album enough to have a full set of songs eventually. I think his performance is great, his part still gives me chills. That’s a great sign." And Sanders also revealed there is a song called 'Ember City.'

There you have it, Mastodonians. Some details to chew on!
