What do you get when you mix Slipknot's music with a sassy British lounge act? It looks something like the Lounge Kitten’s cover of ‘Duality,’ which can be seen above. In their version, the trio of gals substitute the guttural vocals and aggressive guitar parts of the original track, with three-part harmonies and piano, making the song barely recognizable.

On the surface, the Lounge Kittens' video for the clip couldn’t be more different than Slipknot’s official clip for the song. However, upon closer inspection, the Lounge Kittens seem to be paying homage to the heavy metal group, as they can be seen running outdoors, being chased by a crowd and performing in the middle of raucous audience. For comparison and as a possible palate cleanser, we’ve posted Slipknot’s official music video below. If you enjoyed the trio's cover of 'Duality,' you should also check out their versions of Limp Bizkit's 'Rollin' and Andrew W.K.'s 'Party Hard.'

Slipknot just came away with five honors in the 4th Annual Loudwire Music Awards. The group grabbed wins in massive categories like 2014 Metal Band of the Year, Metal Album of the Year for ‘.5: The Gray Chapter’ and Song of the Year for ‘The Negative One’ and more. Check out the full list of winners here.
