Summer is here, which means mosquitoes! And I am one of those people that gets eaten alive by the little blood suckers. If you are like me, here are some tricks to help you deal with the bites:

  • Take some allergy medicine - When you get bit by a mosquito, it's an allergic reaction. So to help with the itching, take some allergy medicine.
  • Put toothpaste on the bites - This one is a huge no for certain members of my family, since they are completely disgusted by toothpaste. But, it can help with the itch. Calamine lotion is better, but toothpaste comes in handy if you're out camping and can't get to a store.
  • Put aloe on it - Aloe will help with the itch, and also help the bites heal.
  • Treat them with salt water, or salt paste - This one is more simple than you'd think. Pour a little water on the bite, then add some salt. It might sting, but should help with the itching.
