The CW’s Legends of Tomorrow has had a rough go of living up to its potential thus far, but all eyes will turn to “Star City 2046” at the end of the month, introducing both a future Oliver Queen and DC’s Connor Hawke. Now, Smoak rises in a new photo from producer Marc Guggenheim, in what might be our first look at the burnt-out Arrow-verse’s future.

Guggenheim shared the first photo of an upcoming Legends of Tomorrow episode over Twtter, albeit without specifying which hour the still belonged to. Still, it seems pretty safe to say that Felicity Smoak would rise far enough by 2046 to have made Palmer Tech her own, even if Star City doesn’t appear to be doing so well around her.

As if that weren’t enough, DC All-Access previews the trip to a nightmare 2046 in the latter half of the below video:

So reads the full synopsis for February 25 outing “Star City 2046”:

THE TEAM ENCOUNTERS A VERY DIFFERENT OLIVER QUEEN

When a malfunction sends the Waverider crashing into 2046 Star City, our heroes face a startling version of their own future where they never stop Savage (guest star Casper Crump) and never return home. The city is in ruins and overrun by criminals, which thrills Rory (Dominic Purcell). Sara (Caity Lotz) is despondent over the destruction of her home and stunned when she learns what happened to her old friend, Oliver Queen (guest star Stephen Amell).

We’ve still a few weeks in between before heading to 20146, but could the Arrow-verse Days of Future Past prove the strongest outing yet? Check out the latest Legends of Tomorrow trailer below.
