The movie, which hits theaters Feb. 7, stars James D’Arcy, Bonnie Wright and Daryl Sabara and centers on a group of college students facing the nuclear apocalypse and deciding which of their group will be allowed to seek shelter underground in order to reboot the human race.
A trailer for the film can be seen above with a little bit of the Davis/O’Toole score playing underneath the action. The movie will receive a limited theatrical release and will also be available via several video-on-demand services in February.
This is not Davis’ first foray into film scoring as he lent his talents to the 2002 film, ‘Queen of the Damned.’ Unfortunately a contractual conflict did not allow him to sing on the songs he created for the film, and Disturbed‘s David Draiman, Linkin Park‘s Chester Bennington, Orgy‘s Jay Gordon and Static-X‘s Wayne Static were recruited to sub in for Davis on vocals. Davis’ other film work included a song for the 2002 revival of ‘The Twilight Zone’ and a cover of Neil Diamond’s ‘Love on the Rocks’ for the film ‘Wonderland.’
In other Korn news, the band has a pretty full itinerary for their world tour. They’ll resume touring Feb. 20 in Auckland, New Zealand with dates booked through late May and stops in Australia, Mexico, the U.K., Europe and Russia on the horizon. To see their full itinerary, click here.
