Meshuggah, Agnostic Front and more are set to perform at Kirk Von Hammett’s Fear FestEvil in San Jose, Calif. in April. The three-day event will feature a Murder Mystery dinner party and two nights of live music that promises to “raise the dead.”

The Metallica guitarist’s second annual Fear FestEvil horror convention will take place from April 10-12 in San Jose, Calif. Lifelong horror enthusiast Kirk Hammett is the curator and host of the festivities, which includes concerts at the RockBar Theater in San Jose that will feature performances from Meshuggah, Agnostic Front, Orchid, Blues Pills, High on Fire and Asada Messiah.

Hammett will also open up his private vaults to showcase his collection of modern horror memorabilia at the event.

The guitarist released the following statement: “It has always been my intention that Fear FestEvil events carry both the weird and the loud and what better way to achieve another extension of what we want to do than eat dinner in a haunted house while solving criminal acts before a weekend of super kick-ass music?!”

Kirk Von Hammett’s Fear FestEvil launched last year at San Francisco’s Regency Ballroom. The event featured a horror exhibition, panels, guest speakers, live music and much more. See photos from last year’s event here.

Tickets for Fear FestEvil go on sale on Monday (Jan. 12). For more information click here.
