Jon Bunch, frontman for ’90s emo outfit Sense Field and former singer for Further Seems Forever for their third album, Hide Nothing, has died. He was 45.

A statement was released on his Facebook page which reads: “With broken hearts and so much difficulty, we write these words to all of you who love Jon. He is no longer with us now. We think his life here ended early morning, Feb. 1, 2016, but it is uncertain at this time. Our love, his family.”

Bunch first began in music when he was 16 as singer for the hardcore band Reason to Believe, which later became Sense Field. The group released five albums between 1994 and 2003 before disbanding in 2004.

Bunch later became the third singer for Further Seems Forever and can be heard on the band's 2004 album Hide Nothing. He remained with the Florida-based outfit until the band broke up in 2006.

In late 2012, Bunch reunited with Sense Field for two Revelation Records anniversary shows and also fronted the post-hardcore band War Generation. They released their debut Start Somewhere, Never Surrender via Rise Records in 2013. More recently, Bunch's new band Lucky Scars released their first EP, Rock and Roll Party Foul, in December.
