A few weeks ago we started to see the promotional campaign for 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' begin to roll out, trading up the Oscar campaign and anime renditions of the previous year for an incomprehensible, albeit hilarious Swedish art house campaign. Three clips were good, but get ready to watch the Paddy's pub gang get even weirder in nine new promos!

If you thought 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' season 9's first clips celebrating the move to FX's spinoff network FXX were "out there" before, you haven't seen anything yet. FX has released the full round of all nine promos, and our head hurts from attempting to dissect the bizarre monochrome Swedish-language ads.

Taking those at face value, details are light on 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia''s ninth season other than guest appearances from singer Josh Groban and ‘Breaking Bad‘s Aaron Paul, and that ‘Game of Thrones‘ showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss have written an episode.

We'll leave you to check out the mind-boggling promos for yourself above and below, and tell us what you want to see from 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' when season 9 premieres this September!
