If you would like a really good hiding spot in your home to keep things safe just ask a burglar.  Reader's Digest did just that and stole some pretty good advice: your kid's room, burglars admit they rarely go in there.  But if you do have kids, don't advertise it by leaving toys and sporting equipment visible in the yard or driveway.  Thats a dead giveaway that there are probably some valuable gaming systems and electronics in the living room.  The worst spots to hide valuables like jewelry and cash are dresser drawers, the bedside table and the medicine cabinet, thats the spots they check first.  So keep your house safe as we approach the holiday season when burglars are more prone to hit.
