The New York City Fire Department is full of brave men and women, which was proven on Monday in Queens when they had to rescue one of New York's Finest. 

The New York Post reports that a police officer was trying to rescue a stranded cat in a tree near a public elementary school in Bayside, Queens.

The cop and the cat both became stranded as students looked on, it took a fire truck with a ladder to save the pair in a double rescue.
