Mother of Dragons, Breaker of Chains, Khaleesi, First of Her Name, Queen of the Andals and the First Men; Emilia Clarke’s Daenerys Targaryen has a lot of nicknames. But the Game of Thrones actress is looking to add one more to her resume: James Bond. Or I should say, Jane Bond.

During the current search for the next 007, Clarke has decided to throw her name into the mix. If the Khaleesi can burn down the patriarchy, walk amongst flames untouched and flee danger while riding atop a dragon, the actress can surely complete some secret missions, right? Clarke recently told the Daily Star that one of her dreams is to play the female version of the MI6 agent. “I would love to play Jane Bond,” she said, before adding that her ideal leading man, aka Bond boy, would be none other than Leonardo DiCaprio.

Just imagine, an action movie where a woman manipulates a man for sex and secrets! And that man would be Academy Award winner Leonardo DiCaprio! What’s that you hear? The curdling screams of misogynistic fanboys on Twitter decrying a female James Bond and boycotting the franchise? Ah, I can see it now, the female Ghostbusters trolls and the female Bond haters rallying together, inside a hut lined with torches, screaming sexist insults at the leading woman until she knocks over the flames and smiles as they burn down! This sounds familiar.

All jokes aside, as much as I’d love to see what a gender-swapped Bond would look like, Clarke would be far from my first choice. Some have championed Gillian Anderson and Priyanka Chopra, while I personally think Emily Blunt would be a fantastic choice or even Rebecca Ferguson. But for the time being, it looks like Tom Hiddleston may be the next actor to take over for the definitely out Daniel Craig. Clarke is probably a little busy conquering Westeros at the moment to take over an action franchise anyway.
