Brief Description Of Activity
1 Participated in General Outreach Efforts On September 14, 2016 our Brand Manager and DJ for KZBT participated in a radio broadcasting advisory meeting at Permian High School Basin Senate in Odessa, Texas to discuss recruitment into the radio industry.
2 Host Job Fair On January 19, 2017, our MP hosted an Oil & Gas Job Fair at the Grand Texan Convention Center in Midland, Texas to attract candidates for media sales positions.  We aired promotional announcements during the days leading up to this event, inviting members of the public to attend and apply.  During the event, TSM representatives presented information to the attendees about careers in radio sales.  Participants from the TSM included our Market President and Operations Manager.
3 FCC – EEO Training Market President completed on 3/22/17 from 2:38p-3:15p the FCC- EEO Training material provided to him in the form of 05/2015 Pre-recorded audio presentation with slides.

4Establishing Internship ProgramThe SEU established a student internship program with the University of Texas/Permian Basin, Midland College and Odessa College.  Interns are expected to shadow various station managers to learn about operations and responsibilities of each department including Programming, Promotions, sales, digital and general business.  Student interns also work closely with SEU personnel to help create a variety of radio programs and events. Internship opportunities are disseminated through on-air and on-line announcements at SEU as well as posting in the placement offices at participating colleges.
