Whats for dinner tonight?  If its a hearty meal including meat, skip the sweet dessert.  According to Sandra Woodruff, Registered Dietician and author of "The AGE-Less Way," certain food combinations fires up high levels of oxidants which damage DNA and can actually accelerate the aging process.  She says having a sweet dessert after eating meat creats the perfect storm in your body, resulting in high levels of free radicals.  There are other food combos we should be avoiding, like meat with high fat toppings or sides.  Think bacon cheeseburger, with fries.  If you're eating meat, consider serving plain rice with that...and broccoli for dessert.
