Drunk Phone App Released by TABC

The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission has recently released an app to tell you when you are drunk.

The Intoximaze app is described by the TABC as an interactive game designed for users who are old enough to drink alcohol. It requires the user to draw a line between a start and end point and incorporates the user's motor skills and timing response to check the ability of the person to guide themselves through a maze without touching the walls.

If the subject "strikes out" too many times in a row, the app will advise them to seek a ride home if they have been drinking.

Additional information will pop up during the game like facts about intoxication, alcohol poisoning, and alcohol by volume.

The game also allows the user to post their high scores directly to Facebook and there is a multi-player option that allows a group to compete against each other on the same device.
