AC/DC had to make some adjustments to their lineup of late in order to account for drummer Phil Rudd’s legal issues. Rudd was arrested in November and is currently awaiting trail on charges of "threatening to kill" and drug possession in New Zealand. The drummer will face a judge-alone trail on April 21.

The band was determined to not be slowed down by Rudd’s arrest and have made adjustments accordingly. The first drummer they reached out to was Bob Richards. The Welsh musician recently appeared in the group’s music videos for “Play Ball” and “Rock Or Bust.” Check out “Play Ball” above and “Rock or Bust” below.

Richards told U.K. magazine Rhythm (as transcribed by Blabbermouth) that he was asked to play with the group in early October of 2014. "I received a call on the Thursday evening asking if I could step in as Phil was unavailable, so I filled in at the last minute,” recalls Richards. "It was all hands on deck. I got my kit sorted out and then an early start to London."

Richards stated that he didn’t have much time to prep, before he was asked to play. "I heard the songs an hour or so before we went on to the set to start the filming. I played it over several times and did a bit of air drumming to it," the drummer says. "The band were fantastic. They made me so welcome and we had a great time shooting the videos. They were very encouraging. I could just enjoy the experience.” Richards went on to say that frontman Brian Johnson even invited him and the crew for drinks after the video shoot.

AC/DC just announced their 2015 North American tour dates. For the trek, the band is taking their onetime drummer Chris Slade on tour. Slade played with AC/DC from 1989-1994 and re-joined the group during their performance at this year's Grammys. They kick things off in Foxborough, MA on Aug. 22.
