Music has the power to bring people out of a coma, and now it saved four people from a shipwreck off the coast of Hawaii.

According to the Huffington Post, three men and a 10-year-old boy were fishing off the coast of Kauai in Hawaii last week, when a massive wave hit their boat.  It was so big, the boat broke and capsized and the four of them hung on for dear life.

Then things got worse when it was discovered that one of the guys had suffered a broken leg in the accident, and was in massive pain every time a wave hit his leg.  Adding to that, it was dark outside, so no one could see them.  Basically, they started wondering if they would die out there.

After four hours out on the water, the kid told everyone to listen.  There was a party at the harbor back on shore, and even though it was a ways away, the guys could hear the music they were playing, "Don't Stop Believin'" by JOURNEY.

They took that as a sign, and decided to make a move back toward the shore.  The two healthy men swam while the guy with the broken leg and the boy hung on.

They figured it would take them two hours if a big current didn't sweep them away and if a shark didn't get them.  But they managed to swim back to land in about a half hour, and the people from the party ran out to help them.
