Dog Shoots Owner

A man in  Frostproof, Florida was shot in the leg by his dog that was a passenger in the truck he was driving.  

The man kept his pistol in the floorboard of his truck and was unaware the gun was loaded until his dog accidentally kicked the gun causing it to fire and strike the man in the leg.

The 35-year-old was driving at the time but was not seriously injured.

The dog is not being detained at this time.
