A researcher discovered that electronic, remote controlled butt plugs were able to be hacked into through his laptop. No word on who's butt plug he hacked.

Scary news for people who enjoy using sex toys, or at least the new remote controlled sex toys. If you haven't heard of these before, these are sex toys that can be remotely controlled by a partner, so even when you are not near your partner, they can still give you a thrill wherever you are. The sex toy in question is the Lovense manufactured "Hush" Bluetooth butt plug. This specific device is designed to be used as a long distance sex toy and is billed as the "world's first teledildonic butt plug" which can be "controlled from anywhere."

Italian researcher Giovanni Mellini discovered the security breach when he was able to use his laptop to remotely hack into the sex toy and control it. He discovered the security breach after he tried it out as a joke on a friend and then posted about it in a blogpost. Mellini said he felt it was important for people to be aware of the breach because most sex toys use the same technology and if one can be hacked, others can too.
