Eddie Trunk, Don Jamieson and Jim Florentine returned on June 1 for Season 12 of ‘That Metal Show’ and closed out the night scoring the highest rated telecast on VH1 Classic this year. With guest Jason Newsted and appearances by drummer Carmine Appice and Hatebreed frontman Jamey Jasta checking in online, the episode proved to be a great start to what is sure to be a heavy hitting season.

Episode 2 is sure to be just as successful when Stone Sour’s Corey Taylor and Josh Rand join the show to discuss their new discs ‘House of Gold & Bones Part 1 & 2.’ Fans can check out a sneak peek of the episode below where Taylor and Rand discuss everything from the eclectic packaging to a drunken New Year’s Eve tale that includes Meat Loaf.

Fearless leader Eddie Trunk took some time to comment on the success of the new season, saying, “It's great to know the faithful fans didn't forget about the show after such a long layoff from new episodes. It's been an amazing run on VH1 Classic that just keeps getting bigger and better.” He continued, “Thanks to all the viewers for watching and making ‘That Metal Show’ the flagship program for VH1 Classic! You guys rule and I hope you enjoy the next seven all new shows featuring more new features, guests, and the return of some older features as well."
