Chris Cornell's Higher Truth album arrives in stores today, but the rocker still has some promotion to take care of. That took him to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon stage Thursday night, where he performed his current single "Nearly Forgot My Broken Heart."

"This guy can sing ... sing, sing, sing," stated Fallon during his introduction of Cornell. As for the performance, Cornell and his band were dimly lit throughout most of the song, mirroring the darker nature of the track. Watch Cornell's appearance above.

Meanwhile, Cornell also gave fans a taste of another new song called "Worried Moon." The vocalist used an online puzzle for fans to figure out to debut the cut, but the song is now available to hear in the player provided below.

Cornell has a busy fall ahead of him with dates in support of the Higher Truth album booked into early December. See his full itinerary here. Higher Truth is available now through Amazon and iTunes.
