Chaser’s World Weird Web: Prostitutes Are Struggling Because Tinder Helps People Find Sex For Free

The digital age has finally hit the oldest profession in the world, and now prostitutes are struggling to find clients now that sites like Tinder help people find sex for free.

According to Stuff.co.nz, apps like Tinder have made it easier than ever for men to find someone to have casual sex with, or at least exchange nude photos with.

That's bad news for people who make a living off horny men not being able to find sex.

According to an organization called the New Zealand Prostitutes' Collective, Tinder and other hook-up apps are killing the prostitution industry.

There aren't a ton of statistics on how many people have sex thanks to hook-up apps on a given night, or how much prostitution is down, but it's clearly a significant number.

Tinder says they get a total of 1.2 billion swipes through profiles every single night, and at least some of those have to lead to some kind of meeting eventually.

One prostitute named Eva says things have gotten so bad that she only has about three or four clients a week, down from at least one a night, so now she relies on a real job to get by.
