The world is full of apps of every kind, and now you can have a recording and video of your life 24 hours a day.

According to CBC, there is a new app called Alibi that automatically records audio and video from your phone 24 hours a day.  The founders say it's like a DVR for your life.

My first thought when I heard about it was how creepy it sounds.  My second thought was that I could really use it to win a lot of arguments.

As soon as you start up the app, it records audio and video on your phone, and your location.  Then it runs in the background, so you might not even remember it's going 24 hours a day.

It dumps its memory once an hour unless you click "save."

The good thing is, your audio and video isn't stored on any servers, just your phone.

The creators say it's legal to record any conversation that's happening in public as long as you're a part of it, even if the other people don't know you are recording.

It's not exactly a nice thing to do, but it's legal.

The app is only available for Android right now and it costs 99 cents.
