So if Fido has went to that big doghouse in the sky, here is a new app to help you find another dog exactly like Fido to adopt.

According to CNET, there is a new app to find a replacement for your pet that has passed away.

The app is called PetMatch, and all you do is upload a photo of your dead pet, the app analyzes the photo and searches local pet adoption databases for one that looks just like your old one.

Once it finds a match, it will send you all the details.

Their next plans are for apps to find lookalikes for things like jewelry or furniture.

PetMatch is a free app, but for now is only available for the iPhone.
