I am crossing my fingers for this week to turn out better than last week, so with that being said, here are some key matchups this week and why I picked them.

Oakland at Kansas City - (KC leads series 55-51-2)  This long standing rivalry in the Western Division takes on a whole new look as KC comes into this game undefeated thanks in part to new head coach Andy Reed.  KC has not done well in the past several seasons in this rivalry with Oakland dominating the wins since 2008 at 7-3.  But this is not the KC of old and I think this series will be a sweep this season for KC, first time since 2003-2006 when KC never lost to Oakland.

Washington at Dallas  - (Dallas leads series 62-42-2) This is the Sunday Night game and this division rivalry has been toughest to pinpoint at any given time in its history.  In fact, the year Dallas went 1-15, their one win was against Washington. The sweep was on last season as Washington won both meetings, and Dallas swept the series in 2011. So this is a toss up but when its a tossup I always go with Dallas, and after Tony Romo's record 500+ yards passing last week, I think Dallas has a good shot provided there are no 4th quarter interceptions to end the game like last week.

New Orleans at New England - (New England leads series 8-4) These teams have only met each other 3 times in this millennium with the Patriots winning 2 of those. New Orleans comes into this game undefeated with Sean Payton back with a vengeance after his year-long suspension.  I think New Orleans has the edge in this game since New England has been barely beating the teams they have this year and suffering their first loss of the season last week. New Orleans on the other hand, has been dominating all of their games this year.

Kickoff is just hours away so make sure you have your picks in for this week's 'Pro Football Pick'em.'
