There was a time in American history when a payphone at a gas station, inside a mall or on a sidewalk was the only way to make a phone call away from your home or office.
I will not even begin to imagine what it would be like to win $1 billion, but can assure you with some certainty that even if I did come into that kind of found money, I probably would still forget to pay my credit card bill on time.
Sadly, it now feels like everything is at least $10, and you long for when prices were just $5 the same as your parents and grandparents recalling when it was just $1.
