In news that is equal parts exciting and "no, duh," 'Avengers 2' star Mark Ruffalo has revealed that the entire ensemble case of the highly anticipated superhero epic will be making an appearance at Comic-Con 2014. Considering the huge splash they made when they last appeared together to promote the first 'Avengers' film, this feels like a no-brainer.

Ruffalo dropped the tidbit in the middle of an interview with Collider, painting a picture of a mass migration from the film's London set:

Yeah, we’re gonna go out there. We’re all flying, we’re flying from London. We’re working. We’re shooting. We’re gonna stop and get on a plane and go to Comic Con together. It’s gonna be amazing.

With the entire cast making the trip, this is all the confirmation we need that the first footage from the film will debut during Marvel Studios' panel on Saturday night. After all, Marvel plays the Comic-Con audience like a fiddle and there's nothing that will get a crowd of 10,000-plus fans as hot and bothered as a glimpse of Earth's mightiest heroes battling the villainous Ultron.

So, expect to see Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Paul Bettany and most likely a few others take the stage this time next month. (And then expect to read detailed recaps of whatever screens right here.)

This year's Comic-Con 2014 will be held from July 24-27. 'Avengers 2' is set to open on May 1, 2015.
