What do you think of when someone says "Hot Dog Shooter?" We pictured some sort hot dog cannon, or maybe even a wiener sling shot. What we didn't picture was a cracked out dude in a trailer park inhaling hot dogs and then regurgitating them. In a segment that Conan calls Why China Is Kicking Our Ass, we're introduced to the true hot dog shooter. This guy went viral on YouTube and is now being featured on random TV shows across the country.
There are a lot of people that you could label "Biggest Douche on the Planet." We want to give you one of the leading contenders. Meet Gary Thompson, a panhandler in Lexington, Kentucky. Thompson was in a motorcycle accident in the early 90s and was the recipient of a $2.5 million settlement with the manufacturer. After running out of money, Thompson went to the streets in his wheelchair to beg for money. What qualifies him as a douche is the fact that he is begging under the guise of being mentally handicapped, which he is not.
Pat Robertson is the host of the religious talk show 700 Club. He has been hosting the show for decades, and has said some pretty crazy things including predicting the end of the world was coming in October or November of 1982. But this latest little blurb is beyond crazy. Robertson tells a story about how demons can possess inanimate objects and warns a viewer that it isn't a bad idea to try to remove demons from thrift store clothes. So, be sure to check for demons before you buy anything. Ever.
My Strange Addiction is, well, a really strange show. In a recent episode, Mark talks about his addiction to inflatable animals. Yes, a grown ass man is addicted to inflatable animals. He bathes them, takes them swimming, talks to them, and even plays music for them. He claims that they all have different personalities, but he assures you that they all do get along with one another.
In true Free Beer and Hot Wings fashion, the guys took a viral internet fad and made it their own. They hopped on board of the Harlem Shake train and made their own rendition of the video. Producer Joe is the catalyst in the video, doing the pelvic thrust while wearing a motorcycle helmet. Once the beat drops, all hell breaks loose.
Viewers of the Steve Wilkos Show on Montana's KTRV were interupted by the Emergency Alert System to be informed of a zombie apocalypse. During the show, the familiar EAS tone sounded, yet the words that came after the tone were not so familiar. A man's voice announces that the dead are rising from their graves and attacking the living. Hacking road signs, EAS equipment, and websites has become more and more common, let's hope that future hacks are all this comical.
No one likes the guy at the gym who gives you unwanted advice while working out. So what better thing for Producer Joe to do, than be THAT guy? Free Beer and Hot Wings sent Joe out to a local gym to give everyone inside some unsolicited advice. Producer Joe really got into his role as a "professional trainer," and helped several people get a better workout!
Penelope Soto, a woman in Miami, Florida, was brought in front of a judge to be arraigned for 26 counts of possession of Xanax. She did not take the the arraignment too seriously, and this did not sit well with the judge. After she received her first sentence, she said "adiós" to the judge. He did not like that response and called her back to the bench and increased the price of her bail. Soto wasn't happy about his decision and proceeded to flip off the judge... Bad move. She is now spending 30 days in county jail.
Taking your children shopping can be an ordeal sometimes, especially if you happen to be tasered by a store clerk. A woman and her plethora of children got kicked out of a mini-mall after her and the children were antagonizing patrons. Once removed from the mini-mall the clerk turned on his camera and continued to argue with the mother and children. In addition to the woman yelling at the clerk, you can hear a 3-year-old child screaming "That's why you gay, that's why you gay!"
A dear friend of the show, Mike Novak, passed away at the age of 57 on Sunday, January 27th. Mike represented the Free Beer and Hot Wings show for about a decade. It was an emotional time for everyone on the show.
