The other day brought the incredible news that CW superhero drama 'Arrow' had tapped geek icon Summer Glau to portray a major DC-based villain for the upcoming second season, but it seems an extra tidbit has leaked in advance of the blockbuster series' Comic-Con 2013 panel, specifically the October 9 premiere title and a new character complicating matters for Laurel (Katie Cassidy).

After the script title had been blacked out in a Twitter post from executive producer Marc Guggenheim, SpoilerTV reports that the 'Arrow' season 2 premiere will bear the title "City of Heroes," (no, not for the game), and introduce a new boss for Laurel Lance in the form of Adam Donner, the new Assistant District Attorney for Starling City. Shades of Harvey Dent, anybody?

Elsewhere, ‘Arrow’ season 2 will pick up on October 9 some time after the events of season 1 finale “Sacrifice,” continuing its ‘Batman Begins‘-influenced storytelling with the addition of multiple new villains to the series. Season 1 guest stars Colton Haynes (Roy Harper), Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity Smoak) and Manu Bennett (Slade Wilson) have all been upgraded to series regulars for the second year in Starling City.

We'll bring you the latest on 'Arrow' season 2 from Comic-Con 2013, but in the meantime, what think you on it? Will the October 9 premiere make Oliver Queen's hometown a "City of Heroes?"
