App Tells You When McD’s Ice Cream Machine is Broken

I haven't been inside a McDonald's in... well, I'm not really sure. It's been that long. I'm all about the drive thru. I also haven't ordered ice cream at McDonald's in just about as long. Or should I say attempted to buy ice cream, because the damn machine was always broken. Seriously, every... f***ing... time.

There might be a solution to this problem. Better machines that aren't down all the time? Nope. How about an app that will tell you if a store's ice cream machine is working or not? That at least seems like a start.

As far as I can tell, the app is only available on iTunes for now and it's called Ice Check. Does each McDonald's keep up with the app? No. That's the down side. You might be the unlucky customer who goes to a McDonald's that has an ice cream machine that's down. But, with the app, you can save your fellow McFlurry Hounds time by letting them know that stores ice cream machine is down.
