Americans Admit Shopping Online While On the Toilet
More Americans than ever before are shopping from their mobile devices and a new survey reveals many are doing it in unexpected places.
A survey by CashStar, a digital gifting and incentives company, finds 38 million online adult Americans admit to having shopped online while on the toilet. Almost 17 million have shopped via a mobile device while standing in the retailer’s physical store.
Additional findings:
- Men were more inclined to shop on the toilet than women.
- More than four million Americans have shopped online while driving a car.
- More than nine million Americans have secretly shopped online while in a business meeting.
The CashStar survey of 2,104 adults was conducted online by Harris Interactive.
