Amazon is Trying To Turn Their Birthday Into the New Black Friday

For all of you that like Amazon deals online, here you go.

According to CNN Money, Amazon turns 20 next week and they want to turn it into a shopping frenzy that's bigger than Black Friday.

Their birthday is a week from Thursday, and they're going to be running crazy deals for 24 hours to celebrate.  Their press release says it will, "be filled with more deals than Black Friday."

There's no word on whether they're planning on turning it into an annual event, but if it's successful, you have to think they will.
