Alex Trebek is in the Guinness Book of World Records For Hosting “Jeopardy”

It seems like Alex Trebek has been hosting "Jeopardy" forever, well almost.

Alex just set the Guinness World Record for hosting the most episodes of one game show at 6,829.

He has hosted since 1984 and has never missed an episode, except in 1997 when he and Pat Sajak hosted each other's shows on April Fool's Day.

Alex says he plans to keep hosting for at least a few more years.

If he does retire, there's a chance his record could be broken by Pat Sajak.  He's hosted approximately 6,000 episodes of "Wheel of Fortune" so far.
