"Sound of the drums / Beating in my heart / The thunder of guns / Tore me apart / You've been / Thunderstruck." While tequila can come with a bit of a kick, the Fabrica de Tequlias Finos company is banking on the fact that their latest spirit will live up to the new name its been given -- Thunderstruck Tequila.

Perryscope Productions and Epic Rights, the licensing and merchandising company that represents AC/DC, have given the go ahead for the popular AC/DC to help brand Thunderstruck Tequila. The high-quality tequila will be available in Silver, Reposado and Anejo and will retail in a range from $29.99 to $39.99. It's expected to hit the market in mid-2016.

AC/DC have delved into the drink market in the past, previously releasing their own beer and wine. They also previously branded the High Voltage energy drink. To learn more about Thunderstruck Tequila, click here.

The branding comes as AC/DC continue their touring in support of the Rock or Bust album. The band recently made the switch to Axl Rose as their fill-in vocalist after Brian Johnson was advised by doctors to stop touring immediately or risk potential total hearing loss. Johnson has been meeting with hearing specialists hoping to eventually return, but in the interim, reviews on Rose's addition have mostly been positive. You can catch AC/DC at these stops.
