We all know cell phone usage has gone up over the past decade. Whether you're using it for texting, checking social media, or even make phone calls like Buzz, chances are you use it more than you did even just 5 years ago.

Pew Research Center just released some numbers on teen cell usage and how they contact each other. They did include one fact that blew my mind. and remind me of a joke form 'Community."

But according to the Pew Research Center, almost one third of teens still use a landline to contact their friends, and even 38% use a cell phone to make a call. That's right, maybe Buzz isn't as out of as we think.

However, there is one other stat that really stood out to me, and that was one in three teens send more than 100 texts a day. That's about 3000 texts a month! So be prepared if you have a young kid, make sure whatever family plan you end up on, get unlimited texts.
